Welcome to Better Brewer! 

Better Brewer is your local homebrew store and has been a Sunshine Coast institution since 1975. We cater to all brewing and distilling needs including hardware and equipment, fermentables, flavourings, accessories and much much more. 

We carry a full range of Coopers and Morgans brewing products, including ginger beers and ciders, as well as Black Rock, Muntons, Mangrove Jacks and Colony West. If you are after fresh wort kits we stock the largest range of All In Brewing and Neighbourhood Brewing Co available.

We cater to mash brewers and distillers with a selection of fresh grains and an on-site mill, as well as a great selection of yeasts from Fermentis, Lallemand, Mangrove Jacks, and Morgans. Hops are available as T90 pellets in over a dozen different varieties as are Morgans Finishing bags in 12g sachets.

Our extensive range of spirit essences includes Still Spirits, Spirits Unlimited, Samuel Willard’s, Prestige, Edwards Essences, Double D Essences, Pure Distilling, Gold Medal, Heritage, Coral Sea Essences, Black Label Essences, Noble Essences and Essencia.

For the wine lovers we stock a large range of items from Cellar Craft, Vintners Harvest, Vintners Reserve, and Wine Expert.

We supply equipment and accessories for both bottling and kegging, including full kegerator systems and CO2 bottles, and are the largest supplier of CO2 refills on the coast.

The owner was friendly and helpful since the moment I arrived, even when I told him I was not going to buy anything yet. He showed me the place and the products and he told me that he's bringing new grains to sale, so I will definitly come back to get everything I need!

I previously avoided this store when ever possible. However on a recent visit ( yes I went there because it’s convenient ) i was pleasantly surprised to meet new owners and had a chat to a friendly rep. New owners are friendly and helpful. Now I am happy to return and confident to recommend to others whom I am sure also previously avoided this store if possible.
